The mission of Baker County High School is to encourage student attendance, foster appropriate student attitudes, and facilitate academic and workplace achievement.
 
FLORIDASTUDENTS.org


Floridastudents.org is a site dedicated to students. This site now contains over 200 high-quality, standards-focused tutorials in all content areas and grade levels. The number of student tutorials is on target to exceed 400 tutorials by the end of the summer.

Additionally the site contains more than 2,000 additional learning resources and a banner that links to the official SAT practice now on Khan Academy.á

Floridastudents.org is designed for students as a supplement to classroom instruction.á It is to be used exclusively for and by students and is not designed or intended for integration into classroom instruction.
SUMMER READING REQUIREMENTS

All average English classes require 10 points ( multiple books are fine) on a 4.0 or higher BL ( book level) as determined on AR book finder.

Honors reads 15 points worth on a 4.5 or higher BL.

Dual Enrollment students are required to read "How To Read Literature Like A Professor" by Dr. Thomas C. Foster.

BETTY TAYLOR SCHOLARSHIP FUND ESTABLISHED

Mrs. Elizabeth "Betty" Taylor was a legendary teacher, friend and mentor to so many of us. A "Betty Taylor Scholarship" has been implemented to honor her every year and keep her memory close to our hearts.á

In lieu of flowers, if anyone would like to contribute, an account has been established at Country Federal Credit Union~602 South 6th Street~Macclenny, FL 32063. á"Betty Taylor Scholarship"áAccount numberá #82150. Contributions can be made in person or by mail.
